★このアルバムに収録されている内容は、1951年以降に再結成されたカウント・ベイシー・オーケストラ(通称”ニュー・ベイシー”)が、”アトミック・ピリオド”と呼ばれる50 年代後半から60 年代前半にかけて頻繁に行ったヨーロッパ・ツアーの一部である。
★このライブ録音は、クリス・シェリダン著の「A Bio-Discography」にさえその存在が捉えられておらず、非常に貴重な音源でありファン必聴の作品となっている。（リリース案内より）
